A New Years Message from Blissco's CEO

Happy New Year!

The Blissco team hopes that you had a restful and rejuvenating holiday season with family and friends. We also hope that you were able to get outside and enjoy nature.  With the door opening to a new year, we wanted to thank you for your support in 2018 for what was a monumental year.

In the early spring we earned an initial license from Health Canada, then two license amendments and more recently, significant purchase orders from a provincial authority.

We are focused on building the strongest team that we can and continue to add top-tier industry professionals from leading brands including the Jim Pattison Group, Johnson & Johnson, Daiya Foods and Dare Foods. After many years of pursuing licensing, over the last six months, we've laid the foundation to establish Blissco as a brand that transcends generations.

Spirits are high at our office and facility as we as we prepare to ship tens of thousands of units over the next few months.  With the holidays over, discussions with other provincial authorities are continuing and we're cautiously optimistic that Blissco will be a national brand in the adult-use market in 2019. Considering Blissco was founded to first serve medical patients, we are eagerly awaiting the day when we can ship directly to any client in Canada.

BlissConnect (our smartphone telemedicine app) and medical e-commerce site will be launching in a few weeks which will allow medical patients to access medical cannabis with ease. Our Client Care centre will be able to assist clients with questions regarding medical service plans and how some include coverage of medical cannabis.

We look forward to hosting Health Canada inspectors at our facility in the near future for a third visit since we were initially licensed in March 2018. Our next scheduled Health Canada inspection will be to earn our cannabis oil sales license. Currently, 18 Canadian companies are licensed to sell cannabis oil to medical patients or to provincial authorities.

Later this month or early next, we will achieve another milestone with a multi-day inspection from European Union Good Manufacturing Practices (EU GMP) regulators. When we earn our EU GMP certification we will be able to export products that we manufacture to Europe. Currently, there are 5 companies in Canada with a EU GMP certified cannabis facilities.

Finally, we have solidified our business plan to complete the remaining build-out space at Blissco's flagship facility. We have been planning and strategizing with our close colleagues from the U.S. who understand the future of consuming cannabis. They have the experience needed to build a toll-processing facility to produce premium Blissco products and sell CBD and THC inputs to other licensed businesses to create their own products. Our expanded processing facility will allow us to grow our strong supply partnerships with Supreme Cannabis and GreenSeal Cannabis and establish additional partnerships with industrial hemp farmers, micro-cultivators and future outdoor-grown producers.

We look forward to many of you enjoying our over 25 SKUs of dried cannabis and full spectrum cannabis oil products. Our full spectrum cannabis oil will allow our clients to experience all the natural cannabinoids and terpenes in the cannabis plant which resonates with Blissco’s wellness brand and positions us uniquely in the marketplace.

Thank you kindly for your ongoing support.
